WHC Webinar: Rights-of-Way Partnerships and Alliances- Addressing the Risk of the Pollinator Declines and ESA Listings

Join Wildlife Habitat Council for their upcoming webinar titled Rights-of-Way Partnerships and Alliances: Addressing the Risk of the Pollinator Declines and ESA Listings. Rights-of-way offer unique conservation opportunities by connecting landscapes and providing a generally stable habitat protected from future development. The Rights-of-Way as Habitat Working Group, composed of multiple industries and unique partnerships, is working to support pollinators and other wildlife, inspired by the population declines in insect pollinator species and the potential listing of the monarch butterfly under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The group is currently working on a voluntary agreement to enhance and sustain monarch butterfly habitat, and in turn will receive regulatory assurances that no additional management activities will be required if the butterfly becomes listed.
