Inspired by our Northern Lights beekeepers, this year\’s conference celebrates WAS members located in and near Alaska, Yukon, British Columbia, the Canadian prairies, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Beekeepers from all around the world will explore the strengths and challenges of beekeeping in this region of the Northern Hemisphere, and the unique beekeeping techniques used in lands where dark, rich soil, vast fields of clover, and long summer days result in enormous honey crops.
