Join Eric Venturini, Farm Bill Pollinator Conservationist and NRCS Partner Biologist with the Xerces Society, for this event where he’ll introduce participants to the astounding diversity of New Hampshire native bees by going outside, catching them, and learning who they are and what they do. The indoor portion of the program will focus on the importance of pollinators and the latest updates on their conservation status in the region. Did you know that a federally endangered bumble bee species used to call New Hampshire home? There will be an opportunity to ask questions, participate in a lively discussion, and go home with practical ideas on how to engage in pollinator conservation.
