Who: Rights-of-Way as Habitat Working Group participants, including representatives from energy companies, transportation agencies, government agencies, non-profits, academics, and consultants.
What to expect: The Working Group meeting will address important questions facing environmental concerns and conservation on energy and transportation infrastructure. The objectives of this meeting are:
- Strengthening integrated vegetation management (IVM) and sustainability programs to improve adoption of IVM, increase conservation practices, and their outcomes.
- Highlight lessons learned from NYPA’s experience in integrating IVM with other company goals (operations, environmental, and sustainability).
- Create opportunities for learning and integrating vegetation management, environmental, and sustainability program efforts.
