This online library is a clearinghouse of tools and information related to habitat on rights-of-way and other lands. From seed mix calculators to mowing guidelines and everything in between, you’ll find it here.

Assessment Tools, Planning Tools
The geospatial database allows your organization to store and track information about habitat restoration projects and conservation measures on your lands.

Assessment Tools, Conservation Agreements
This scorecard is intended for advanced assessors who can identify most plants to species level.

Assessment Tools, Conservation Agreements
This scorecard is intended for use by most assessors, but some skill level is required to identify per cent plant cover, flowering plants in bloom, habitat resources, and manage threats and opportunities.

Assessment Tools, Conservation Agreements
This scorecard is intended for use by anyone, with minimal training or plant identification skills required. The scorecard delineates the required and optional biological effectiveness monitoring fields per the Monarch CCAA.

Case Studies and Research, Webinars
Seattle City Light, The Common Acre and several other community-based stewardship groups have initiated an effort to suppress tree and weed growth, while promoting pollinator habitat on a transmission right-of-way in the Duwamish Valley. David Bayer, Rory Denovan, Bob Redmond, Alison Rinard, and Evan Sugden present how The Green Line connects degraded remnant habitat fragments, extensive industrial barrens, underserved neighborhoods and the estuary Duwamish River. This effort uses a novel mix of science-based adaptive management and community-based stewardship to improve a seemingly-hopeless pollinator habitat.Seattle City Light’s handout on Principles of Ecological Vegetation Management for Utility Rights-of-Way.
