ROWHWG Webinar: Pollinator-Friendly Solar- Setting State Standards

This webinar will present an overview of state standards for solar pollinator habitat across the United States. Presenters will share their perspectives on the development of these standards, coordination among stakeholders, unique considerations by state, and experiences with their implementation.
Presenters:
Rob Davis, Director at Fresh Energy, will provide a general overview of state pollinator habitat standards for the solar industry and ongoing efforts across the U.S.
Dr. Rufus Isaacs, Professor of Entomology at Michigan State University, will describe the development of the Michigan state pollinator solar habitat standard.
Dr. Adam Dolezal, Assistant Professor at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will describe the development of the Illinois state pollinator solar habitat standard.
Gavin Meinschein, Lead Civil Engineer at ENGIE, will provide the industry perspective on developing low-impact solar design with native, pollinator-friendly vegetation, including insights on successes and potential pitfalls.
