Tallgrass Prairie Center: Roadsides & Recreation Conference

33rd annual Roadside Conference, Graham Conference Center, Pella, Iowa
Topics will include: managing vegetation around Red Rock Lake; history of Red Rock Lake; Working with special needs individuals in conservation; safety around roadside noxious weeds; biggest challenges facing roadside vegetation programs; and Iowa codes relevant to roadside vegetation work. Field trips to the Vermeer plant and a hydroelectric plant tour are planned.
