Roadside Habitat for Monarch Butterflies and Pollinators
August 16, 2022
1:00 PM-2:00 PM CDT, through Zoom
Throughout North America, municipalities and other landowners are working to create pockets of monarch butterfly habitat in urban, suburban, and rural areas, including on agricultural lands, grazing land, land trust sites, parks, natural areas, schools, and municipal properties. There is significant opportunity to extend the ecological benefit of these areas by converting nearby roadsides into ecological corridors. This webinar, hosted by the National Wildlife Federation, will feature two case studies from South Texas and Central Missouri where seed restoration was combined with public outreach.
