CCAA Advisory Team

The CCAA Advisory Committee supports the implementation of the Nationwide Candidate Conservation Agreement for Monarch Butterfly on Energy and Transportation Lands (the Agreement). It provides collaborative support to the Programmatic Administrator, who is primarily responsible for implementing the Agreement and making decisions. The Committee’s tasks include reviewing and advising on modifications or amendments to the Agreement, overseeing and approving its own work, and supporting the Programmatic Administrator with decisions, public relations, and communications.

The committee consists of members representing energy and transportation sector Partners.  The Advisory Committee will contain several permanent non-voting members, including the Programmatic Administrator and a representative from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The roles of the chair and vice-chair include:

  • Scheduling and facilitating Advisory Committee meetings
  • Reporting status and updates to Advisory Committee
  • Broadly representing sector/technical team interests/concerns, or as otherwise requested
  • Helping to elevate team member concerns and build consensus across the team
